eBizDocs CEO and Philanthropic Trailblazer Leads Albany Fundraising Competition
Albany, NY,. December 3, 2019 – eBizDocs, a premier electronic content solutions provider, announced its CEO and founder, Howard Gross, received the 2019 Albany Best Buddies Champion of the Year Award. The Champion of the Year competition is an annual 12-week fundraising event that promotes the mission of Best Buddies and its programs.
These programs empower the special abilities of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.
Champion of the Year unites and recognizes the community’s most active leaders in the name of inclusion. “This year we had 5 Champions raising funds and awareness for Best Buddies. We exceeded all our goals and Mr. Gross won this year’s competition by personally raising over $10,000,” said Heidi Barcomb, Best Buddies Director for the Albany area.
