Audit I and Audit II

Brithaney discovered eBizDocs on INDEED.com and joined eBizDocs in December 2019. She enjoys having two jobs all the time and was fascinated by the idea of working in an office setting. Why?? Because all her prior jobs were limited to food service or working with people in assisted living. Since she was finishing her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Radiologic Technology at the University of Albany, Brithaney felt an office setting was a more suitable onramp towards working at a doctor’s office or health care facility. Having never worked in an office setting, she wanted to expand her resume and she was surprised when she was offered the job.

Brithaney was just learning about her new workplace when the pandemic arrived and cut her employment short. She was astonished and pleased when she received a call in the late spring of 2020 to return to work. “I really liked what I was doing, and I really enjoyed how everyone at eBizDocs works together but also works individually to get the job done”, said Brithaney. “Even upon my return to eBizDocs, everything just continued to flow…every team supports the other team. AND what remains surprising to me is that eBizDocs has the most diverse group of people I have ever worked amongst. Everyone is so nice and supportive to each other. As a radiologic technologist, you MUST have the ability to communicate and interact with a variety of people to complete your responsibilities.”

Perhaps the most demanding part of eBizDocs is being open to learning new job duties and being flexible and amenable to learning new skills.  Brithaney initially joined eBizDocs to do data entry. Since returning in the spring, one of her favorite projects became New York State Department of Health. This project required learning new skills and performing Audit I and Audit II work. This also meant learning new software. “This challenged me, and I must THANK Chris Ginart (Director of Operations) and Brandon Henry (Team Lead for Microfilm/Microfiche) for all their support. I had so many questions about the new work!!!  As a radiology technician it is imperative I know how to use new technology properly, it is a necessary part of the job. So, when I was truly challenged with the audit job, I quickly saw how this experience will help me in the future.” Brithaney also demonstrated her flexibility when asked to be the front desk receptionist. With the support and instruction from Wead Jassim (Production Manager) and Tobi Bickweat (Productivity Manager), Brithaney quickly learned how to be a great receptionist and meet the needs of both internal and external customers. Today, Brithaney’s work and business experience are reaching new heights and providing new levels of confidence and independence.

“Prior to Howard’s (Howard Gross, President/CEO) call, I was sitting home eating Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and Doritos, watching Hulu and Netflix. But I like being active, as a former Lacrosse player, so I am so thankful to Howard for bringing me back to eBizDocs. I really needed a job. And Howard hired me twice!!”
