eBizDocs Fulfills Major Government Digitization Projects with Kodak Alaris Scanning Solutions
Alaris, a Kodak Alaris business, and eBizDocs, an Albany, NY-based scanning service bureau, are helping government agencies address two critical challenges: preparing for the influx of document requests related to the REAL ID Act and providing better overall service to clients that receive state benefits.
Starting October 1, 2020, every U.S. state and territory resident will need to present a REAL ID-compliant license, ID or other acceptable form of identification (such as a passport) to access federal facilities, including boarding commercial aircraft. Government agencies expect a surge in information requests as citizens gather the required paperwork to apply for REAL ID-compliant identification.
Outdoor Recreation Powerhouse
Alpin Haus was convinced going paperless was the solution and turned to the experts at eBizDocs for guidance. eBizDocs recommended automation.

I am originally from the California Bay area.
I moved to Long Island, NY in 2012, and then to Albany in 2014. I started at eBizDocs in Feb 2019 as a Data Entry/Document Prepper clerk. At the time, for lots of reasons, my life was a hot mess. eBizDocs recognized my skills but knew I needed some “time” to put all my “ducks in a row”. After a few months, I crossed my fingers, called back, and said I was ready to return. Howard said, “Come on back”.
Fortunately, there was an opening in the Quality Assurance (QA) unit. I was very nervous to begin this new job. I knew QA requires perfection. My supervisor was very supportive and worked with me to help me understand the requirements of QA. We worked together and as I developed more confidence in my ability to do the job, the job got easier.
As my skills shined, I was given additional responsibilities, such as: helping on the phones, answering document preppers questions (when my supervisor is busy), helping swipe my co-workers in and out of time tracker.
I LOVE being a team player!!
Thank you for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to shine!
