Quality Assurance
Hearing the words “Quality Assurance” is usually all the explanation that is necessary–it’s the process of assuring quality. But E-BizDocs takes it much deeper. We wouldn’t want you to think that QA is simply checking the work of the previous staff–it’s an important and critical step in and of itself.
Image quality
Each image is reviewed to make sure that none were captured too light or dark, or at an incorrect orientation. Sometimes, varying text direction or handwriting can trip up the orientation engine, and QA corrects the anomalies so that the images the end user views are correct.
Document count
Many document scanning service bureaus do a fine job of reviewing quality, but none take the same level of care to ensure that every page is captured.
In the QA phase, pages are counted to make sure that if there were 2,500 pages in a box, there are 5,000 images in the file.
