To 'amplify' Mr. Rosamilla's finding that the resulting benefit is the sum of all the parts, I would add that the sine qua non of the stereo component system was Jeff's tactical decision to invest in the capabilities of complementary technologies to enable his strategy to achieve excellent sound.

Similarly, today, many organizations continue their headlong rush to buy a scanner "to solve all our problems", ignoring the true foundation is the situational, managerial and personal context underlying the need for a solution. Rather than as an investment in people and culture, they perceive this as a cost - willing only to scratch the surface. I amend the old saw "People performing work processes using technology" adding "within a culture." Congratulations to eBiz Docs that clearly understands and routinely performs deep understanding of their customer's needs and the caring development of their employees who provide solutions for those needs.

Although I too had the mother of all stereo systems in college, when I went in the Army it was set up in my parents Den and although considerable instruction was given and the FM tuner was set to my parents favorite station and sound volume, I subsequently learned that all the 'training' was for nought, as for the next two years, they simply plugged in the system (line cord) to turn it on and off. Unbelievable to me but normal to them. I hadn't listened! Complements to all!!!

Great event. Well planned and executed. As a consultant, I can't imagine the number of people who can use your document management technology/expertise...but don't realize it. You are the 'pioneers' who need to educate the commercial market.
