Although I too had the mother of all stereo systems in college, when I went in the Army it was set up in my parents Den and although considerable instruction was given and the FM tuner was set to my parents favorite station and sound volume, I subsequently learned that all the ‘training’ was for nought, as for the next two years, they simply plugged in the system (line cord) to turn it on and off. Unbelievable to me but normal to them. I hadn’t listened! Complements to all!!!
