Alexander Graham Bell received patent for his “improvements in Telegraphy.”

Remember when a portable phone was the coolest thing, ever?  Today, chances are good that you’re viewing this post on a cell phone or other mobile device.  Wonder if Alexander Graham Bell imaged what would become the norm in communications technology when he sent in these patent drawings?
