We held another open house today, inviting contacts from our Business Development team to stop in, see the production floor, and see what really goes on behind the document conversion curtain. Also, they had the opportunity to see Kodak scanners and CNG in action.
Paul’s take
One of the FAQs we got was about cloud storage and retrieval solutions. Our offerings are more scalable and affordable than ever. In many cases customers can store up to 5GB for as little as $250 a month.
Also, people are often surprised at some of the applications for the efficiencies our scanning services provide. For instance, a visitor “rubbed his chin” as he considered using EBizDocs to open the large volumes of snail mail his company is anticipating. It would be more cost effective for him to have the mail routed here by the USPS, have us open it and scan it, then send it electronically to his offices for processing. Why would he want his salaried employees performing a function we are specifically set up for?
Christine’s take
It was a pleasure and an honor to have so many people from the business community come here to see what EBizDocs does. There were many questions and so many we hear over and over—they may be the same questions you have too.
For instance: “When you scan my documents, where do they go?”
That is an excellent question!! The answer is where you tell them to go. If you have an already-existing data/client management system, the information goes to the file or folder you direct the data to go. You don’t have to scan a whole box at a time, but a file at a time and direct that file to its electronic file/folder. Just as you wouldn’t file a pile of papers without a labeled manila folder. Same concept just digital.
If you don’t have a system in place—or the one you have has shortcomings—we have a couple of experts on staff to assist you in how to best catalog your data and in which product would work best for your operation.
I am new to EBizDocs and am constantly learning of ways we help offices be so tremendously efficient, save time, save quite a bit of money. Attorneys won’t have to carry or cart around pounds and pounds of documents, desks won’t be cluttered with one file after another until they are falling over and half a day is wasted putting them all away. Just click open and click shut. It really is just that simple and speedy!!
